I like the katsu bowls here. I get my haircut down the street and the place i used to go to is closed. They do have curry but I'm not into spicy food so hesitant to try it. The katsu bowl is a little different in that the katsu is separate from the egg. One interesting thing is they put cabbage in the egg mixture. They have a large order your own touch screen. They DO NOT take cash so be aware. It is a pretty bright place and they valet park. I park in street for $2.

Katsu Bar Koreatown - Quick & Tasty Spot for Sando Lovers! I visited Katsu Bar in K-Town for a quick lunch and loved how convenient and delicious it was! Their Rosemary Katsu Sando was perfectly crispy and paired so well with the waffle fries and house sauce. The Shrimp Sando was also packed with fried shrimp and had a great texture. One thing to note--the Spicy Chicken Udon is mala-based, not the typical Korean gochujang flavor, so if you're not into mala spice, just keep that in mind! My personal favorite was the Strawberry Sando -- soft bread, fresh strawberries, and cream -- so light and satisfying! Plus sandos were a bit salty for me so also recommend trying their Strawberry Ade or Lemon Ginger Ade for a refreshing drink that pairs perfectly with the savory dishes. The space is clean, the service was friendly, and it's a great spot for a quick bite, especially during lunch. Plus, parking is relatively easy with valet, metered, and even some free street parking nearby.

Great valued Katsu Sando! Order up as you walk inside and find a seat to dine. They have amazing waffle fries that goes along with the burger meal. I ordered the Chicken and Pork Katsu, both were tender and juicy. I do recommend giving a try for their mayo sauce. Staff were quick and friendly. Always keeping the place tidy for people who dine in.

I've had Katsu Bar a few times since it's been open now and enjoy it. it's close, quick, easy, cheap, and solidly. What more could a girl ask for?! Katsu Bar has a small parking lot which valet will let you park for a few minutes for carry out or you'll need to use the valet to park. xxxx My favorite items I've had from the restaurant: ~the katsu sandos ofc! I like the egg salad. ~along with that, the egg salad yubu is really great. I actually love all of their yubus and find them to be well packed with tasty flavors. Also love the spicy tuna, bulgogi, and cheese buldaks. ~i loveeeeeeee the cauliflower tempura! so lightly battered and they give it just enough air when not dining in to keep the crisp. Love the veggie dish with the accompanying garlic dipping sauce. i'm obsessed! ~still need to try some of their cool sauces like berry katsu~! Katsu Bar is a great option in KTown when I need something fast and reliable!

Korean McDonald's vibes. There's a nice selection of items - appetizers, sandwiches, plates, bowls, drinks, desserts. You place the order on a kiosk and everything is ready for you. The food was just as advertised - nothing particularly special or different. The ease and convenience of ordering is what makes this place different from other places. The reason for the 4/5 rating is because the crispiness of the waffle fries and the katsu didn't last the drive back home. Will be returning for more the next time I'm looking for a quick katsu fix.

i looove katsus and so i was very excited to come try katsu bar! to give you the laydown, there is a parking lot although I believe they do have valet at times. there is some metered street parking as well. the restaurant is fast casual with plenty of seating inside. place an order at the counter or kiosk and they bring the food to you. they also have a daily $10 special (dine-in only) i got the yubu pockets (spicy cali roll and buldak spicy chicken) and my friend ordered the caprese katsu sandwich. the portions were decent and fair for the price. the sandwich also came with a side of fries. i really want to try the dill egg and strawberry sandos as well as their katsu curry! we'll just have to be back

Rosemary Katsu Sando + Waffle Fries / pork katsu, berry katsu sauce, yuzu cabbage, mustard aioli, milk bread, waffle fries - 5! Spicy Tuna Yubu / spicy tuna, rice, marinated tofu wrap - 5! Bulgogi Beef Yubu / bulgogi beef, rice, marinated tofu wrap - 5! Katsu Bar is a Japanese-Korean Fusion fast casual sandwich and noodle franchise and this location is in the heart of Koreatown. Katsu is a type of breaded cutlet made with panko. Katsu Bar absolutely nailed it with their rosemary pork katsu sando. It was one of my favorite sandwiches I have eaten all year and also one of my favorite overall dishes this year. It was that good. The rosemary pork katsu sando had berry katsu sauce, crispy and light panko breaded pork cutlet, yuzu marinated cabbage on the milk bread. It was really, really good. I could eat that sandwich every day for months and not get bored. I ordered the combo plate and the waffle fries were excellent. I probably could have stopped there and been quite satisfied but I also wanted to try out their yubu, which is also known as inari sushi. The basic version of yubu is rice wrapped in marinated bean curd. Katsu Bar upped their version by offering a variety of popular toppings. I tried the bulgogi beef and the spicy tuna. Both were excellent. I was so full after eating here. The restaurant is in a food-centric mini mall on 6th street. It looked like they had valet parking but when I pulled up there was a curb spot so I didn't try their parking lot. It looked easy to park but the valet might charge. Katsu Bar is in the corner and has large windows on three sides. The dining room had a nice, stylish look to it. Everyone working at the counter or in the kitchen were nice and friendly. Overall, a great place for a meal. I would love to come back here or try their other locations so I can see what their noodles are like and to try more katsu sandos!
